Information We Collect

NYC Movers Extension does not collect any sensitive information from the user, such as: email addresses, login details, passwords, locations, or form data.

NYC Movers Extension does collect anonymous interface usage statistics such as how often the addon's menu items are used or what options users prefer. This type of data is collected only to improve user interface accessibility and guide further development of the addon.

Data Usage

All searches and interactions are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. We use Google Maps API, NYC Open Data, and OpenAI API to provide neighborhood information.

Third-Party Services

This extension uses the following third-party services:

• Google Maps API - For geocoding and map display
• OpenAI API - For AI chat responses
• NYC Open Data - For crime and noise statistics
• Reddit API - For community insights

Data Storage

User-submitted reviews and preferences are stored securely using Supabase. No personal information is required to use the extension.
